Religious Education Registration Form Click HERE
Volunteers Catechists and Assistants Needed: This is an excellent way to truly “make a difference” in the lives of young people in our parish. If you sense even the smallest flickering of a call to offer your time and talents in this vital ministry, do not be afraid. Please contact me.
New Religious Ed. Students: Unless baptized at Resurrection Parish, an original transcript of your child’s baptism record, dated within the last six months is required. If possible, please submit with registration.
2-Year Sacrament Program:Two (2) years of classroom religious education is required in preparation for the sacraments.
Students Receiving Sacraments This Year: Unless baptized at Resurrection Parish, an original transcript of your child’s baptism record, dated within the last six months, must be on file prior to the child’s receiving the sacraments.
Is your child baptized? All second-grade children must have been baptized prior to their seventh birthday to receive First Penance/Communion with their second-grade class. Unbaptized children seven years of age and over will, of course, receive the sacraments, but on a different track/schedule than their peers. Please contact me.
Home Schooled Children: Resurrection requires home-schooled students to attend the parish’s sacramental preparation classes. This means that home-schooled children are required to attend two (2) years of Religious Education classes in preparation for the sacraments.
Questions/Contact: Deacon Patrick Goin, Director of Formation at 744-0833 x13 or pgoin@respar.net. |
